  • Kevin Quigley, the most prolific author you've never heard of. Hi, welcome to my website. If you're a fan of some of my unpublished work, feel free to check out the news and see what I haven't been publishing recently. If you're an official in the book business, sample my writing and consider publishing me. I'm really quite good.

    The News
  • (05-24-00) -- OH MY GOD!!! Huge news! I'm On Fire has been accepted as an e-book at E-Books On the Net! WOW! Soon, you will be able to purchase this novel online through that site or this one. Price and other details to follow!

  • (05-12-00) -- Changed the title of Sid & Jake to Open All Night, mainly because it sounded like Sid & Nancy. I'm really enjoying writing this one - I can't wait to see where it takes me!

  • (04-27-00) -- Against my better judgement, I've begun a new novel before starting my other projects (2nd and 3rd drafts of Eighth Acre, compiling and editing the short story collection, etc.). The new book is called Sid & Jake for lack of a better title. More news on this novel soon!

  • (04-25-00) -- Final draft of I'm On Fire complete! Now, let's see what I can do with it!

  • (03-17-00) -- No go on "Brock Diner," folks. Even with the expanded second draft, it just wasn't right for the anthology. Sad!

  • (03-01-00) -- Still in the Downtime, folks -- second draft of I'm On Fire well underway, plus final draft of the new version of "Brock Diner" prepared to go out! I'll keep you posted!

  • (02-11-00) -- Completed new short story called "Baby, It's Cold Outside." Return to horror, in my opinion a very Twilight Zone-type story.

  • (01-26-00) -- FINISHED The Eighth Acre, the first in what I hope becomes a mystery series. We'll see how it plays out.

  • (12-13-99) --US Times BL&R just published my review of Kevin Smith's Dogma! Check it out!

  • (12-08-99) -- Changed the title of Here's the Thing to The Eighth Acre, due to the more serious tone than I thought the book would have. We're now at the halfway point to novel length -- keep watching this site!

  • (11-30-99) -- I got an AGENT! This is terrific news! For all of you who have been pulling for Spare Parts to be published, this is one giant step toward that goal! Thanks for all your support!

  • (11-27-99) -- Began new novel, this one a mystery, called Here's the Thing. Updates as warranted!

  • (11-26-99) -- Completed first draft of a new novella entitled "Drawn to the Flame," a needed return to horror. Now, back to the non-horror trenches...

  • (11-18-99) -- Completed my very first screenplay, a very short peice called "The Short Path to Silence." This is the second in a trilogy of "gritty" stoires I'm writing that have nothing to do with horror. The third, "Ride All Night," will be written shortly.

  • (11-10-99) -- Review of The House on Haunted Hill published at US Times BL & R. Check it out! (review of Dogma coming soon!)

  • (11-05-99) -- Completed first draft of I'm On Fire! Planning on beginning revisions mid-December, around the time I begin my third novel, Here's the Thing.

  • (10-30-99) -- My poem "Two" appears on my friend Michelle's wedding page -- appropriate since I wrote it for her wedding.

  • (10-18-99) -- A new review published! Read my review of the fil American Beauty at The US Times Bestseller List and Review. I got a column and a byline!

  • (10-18-99) -- Spare Parts is being looked at by a publsihed author friend of mine, who will send it onto an agent friend of his if he likes it. Here's hoping -- will my novel EVER be published?

  • (09-29-99) -- Sent "Brock Diner" to the Everything I Have Is Blue Anthology, edited by Wendell Ricketts. Keep your fingers crossed -- this could be my first professional fiction sale!

  • (09-29-99) -- Review of American Beauty, starring Kevin Spacey, has been accepted by US Times Bestseller List.com. When it is actually printed, I will announce it here.

  • (09-29-99) -- Handwritten editing of Spare Parts completed! Now, all I have to do is change the computer copy and I'm done! (Hopefully, I'll have time this weekend...)
